Norman scored just 12 points in the first half, while Midwest City jumped to a 23-12 halftime lead and never looked back.
Quick start: Putnam City used an outstanding first quarter to run away from Edmond North, 68-31.
Putnam City outscored the Huskies 27-7 in the first quarter, then outscored them 17-7 in the second quarter to take a 44-14 halftime lead.
Super sophomore Xavier Henry nearly outscored the Huskies on his own with 26 points for Putnam City.
Eleven straight: Okarche defeated Watonga 88-64 to earn its 11th straight win to open the season.
Daniel Crossley scored 25 points to lead Okarche. Tyler Karr added 24 points.
