Notes: No. 8 Midwest City (Oklahoma City, Okla.) defeated then-No. 7 Putnam City (Oklahoma City, Okla.), 69-67, in overtime of the Putnam City Invitational championship. Junior point guard Jarrod McDaniel hit the game-winning free throws and finished with 13 points, 10 of which came in the fourth quarter and overtime. Senior forward Xavier Alexander, who has committed to George Washington, tallied 27 points and 12 boards. Putnam City sophomore Xavier Henry finished with 28 points and 15 boards. Hes rated the nations No. 4 recruit in the Class of 2009 by RISE.
